The Women Veterans Education Project is built on community. Whether you want to serve as a mentor, become a mentee, partner with our initiative, or join our broader community, there are many ways to support women veterans pursuing higher education.
Mentors are women veterans who are currently enrolled in college/graduated from college and are willing to share their experiences navigating higher education. By offering guidance, insight, and encouragement, mentors help other women veterans successfully transition from military service into college life.
Mentees are women service members/veterans who are preparing to enter college or are early in their higher education journey. Through mentorship, mentees gain support, advice, and practical guidance from women who have already navigated the transition into academic life.
We welcome partnerships with organizations, schools, and veteran support groups that share our mission. Partners help expand our reach, connect women veterans with resources, and strengthen the support network available to those pursuing higher education.
Our community brings together women veterans and women pursuing higher education to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Whether you’re a mentor, mentee, or simply looking to be part of a supportive network, this space is designed to foster connection, encouragement, and opportunity. You DO NOT have to be a veteran or currently serving to join. ALL women supporters are always welcome!
